SRNAs work diligently for several years to master the knowledge and skills needed for success as a CRNA. Finding the right job, making a strong first impression, performing well at the interview and landing the job require preparation. Although education programs produce strong clinical anesthetists, many people lack an understanding of the nuances related to winning the best job. This talk shares insight from my time as the CRNA hiring manager at The Johns Hopkins, to include ways that savvy applicants blend personal and organizational values to strengthen their position when applying for a job.
